As a die hard G1 fan who remembers watching season 1 on Saturdays as a lil kid, i don’t think there absolutely anything wrong with buying bootlegs/counterfeits of Hasbro TFs & displaying them as Autobots & Decepticons. Your money, your collection, just call it for what it is & not church it up by saying 3rd party 4th party. Bootleg does not denote poor quality.

Any changes to the patient is a change to the patient. If it's not a like for like it's not a KO. When time and effort is put in to it we should respect their efforts. Even if it's a little change. We need to give credit where credit is due. They easily could have made a bigger copy, that's not a copy.

Only comes wioth a axe? Just like my Siege Optimus then. I have to buy a 3rd party gun to complete my figure. I did send off to Hasbro, but they didn't have one so sent my Siege Megs instead!

I like his colour scheme over the Netflix version, but this face isn't as nice. I think something about the eyes look derpy. Thanks for this OSKO comparison.

I've been waiting for this review, I've been debating to get this one because of the scale. He's as tall as SS86 Grimlock, or taller. So I'm still not sure if I'll pull the plug, but he's awesome. I'm sure if he's still there after X-mas I'll pick him up. Thank you for this review.

I love the turquoise accents, and hate the head lights are on the backpack now. I like to fold them out like arm cannons. If you flip up his knee caps in truck mode you can store the axe in a peg hole on the left leg.

That KO is actually copying the 1st Nemesis Prime that came out before Wal-Mart version. It has the turquoise color.

He’s cool and all, but I have yet to see a third party figure that is worthy of my money. Maybe if these big boys were $20 a pop, I’d consider it, but no way in hell at whatever retail price they actually go for.

There are some distinctions to keep in mind here... 1) This figure ISN'T technically a "Third Party" item... More accurately, as an OS/KO he's a "4th Party" figure. 3rd Party are typically independent creations BASED on an existing property, sort of homages inspired by their G1 counterparts, and are usually MUCH more expensive, due to an extreme lack of retail presence Stateside... Whereas, the KO figures are almost direct duplications of an existing Hasbro (or even 3rd Party) figure, BUT WITH significant differences (of AT LEAST 20%), to circumvent potential lawsuits that a direct and EXACT copy would create. Hence the Over/undersizing, improved paint apps, inclusion of die-cast parts, and added articulation or transformation changes, just as a few examples. 2) As mentioned, 3rd Party figures ARE quite a bit more expensive, so unless you have a LOT of disposable income and don't mind paying heavy prices, you definitely have to be selective about which bots you choose to buy... 3) These KO figures, even the OverSized versions like this Nemesis, are usually NOT more than the cost of a deluxe Hasbro figure, or maybe a voyager size. THIS guy is probably(?) only slightly MORE than a deluxe figure, BUT could be a bit less or voyager price (thereabouts), and definitely worth the price for such awesome figures. I have picked up several KO's, but they're usually either Oversized, downsized, or heavily improved versions of something that Hasbro is never going to provide on their own, OR they are something I've bought IN ADDITION to having ALREADY purchased the Hasbro version. For example, I bought OS/KO versions of the TR Headmaster figures (Skullcruncher, Hardhead, Brainstorm, etc.,..) at a voyager size. They costed LESS than a Hasbro deluxe, WITH improvements and die-cast metal. Hopefully, that helps to clear up some things most people dont realize about these figures.,

They are $19.99 usd. A lot of KO's today will improve on things like transformation, plastic quality, and paint jobs.

Hasbro could have fix the arm problem like this company did but it would have raise the part count and cost them to charge more.
