@@zoltanperei4789 the problem with this mold is its always the same guy. At least the Sideswipe, Cliffjumper, and Seeker molds were different characters.

Great review! A clever repaint with extra accessories! At first I didn't think the Shattered Glass was worth the extra 10 bucks, but I forget about the USA versions having the comic book included!

Well I'm a sucker for alt realities. The mirror verse in Star Trek, the Earth 3 Crime syndicate, the evil Man at arms, and from just art but would lobe Hasbro to try it Cobra is the heroes and the joe team the terrorist organization. ( done in old 3.75 figs cause classified sets would be pricey) This though was something always was curious on when heard the first news at Botcon. I did get Blurr, wish had got the Prime and Ratchet earlier but adulting got in way there. I like the scheme but agree a lot of plain areas. Expecting a possible toyhax job later. The transformation agree pretty lazy but with the mold its do able just the thigh section being so open is the downer. Larger gap filler needed. A great review still. Curious on the comic story. I did just hear about a collected trade coming already

At the very end of funpub's term with the franchise, they teased a Sunbow G1 SG universe, and it ended with the tease of the decepticons working with a US organization called Cobra.

On one hand, most SG are straight repaint, sometimes with a new headsculpt. This one is the same, +accessories, but since he's not a tank, I think Hasbro went lazy when they didn't design a new mold. The new paint is cool, and I'm sure the character in the comics is amazing. Great review as usual, sir.

Considering how the original Energon Megatron mold was meant to invoke G1 Galvatron, I found it immensely frustrating that there already was a mold they could use for him that'd be more accurate to the original.

@@ShatteredGlassUnicron the thing is this isn't meant to be the original shattered glass transformers. This is another splinter of the multiverse. Hasbro is just cashing in on the name of a much more popular fan made story from BotCon

@@ShatteredGlassUnicron if Hasbro wasn't being lazy, I would support the figures for shattered glass too. Unfortunately the comics that come with the figures are also sold individually and tell a story of a Cybertron under the rule of Optimus Prime, Goldbug, and Prowl, after they won on earth and thought Megatron was dead, leaving the Decepticons scattered and on the run. I like what IDW is doing with their version of shattered glass, but it's not the same as what we were introduced to.

I love the idea of the head swap! Have you try the wings and cockpit on Kingdom Galvatron to see if hasbro will try to give us a repaint of Kingdom to Energon Galvatron?? Great Review.

You can peg the wings into the shoulders ( as a robot) and you could connect the tank barrel /sword into the turret in jet mode ( it will cover the cockpit unless you turn the turret 180º around). If you want to give Megatron a tail sword in jet mode or tail gun. There are two upgrade kits on TFsafari with extra guns. I only have Regular Siege Megatron and Shattered Glass Megs, so I don't have Peak Megatron.

The sword gun and be plugged in upside down into the torrent. Which helps cover up the legs. I ordered the upgrade kit for it that gives me the two cannons on his shoulders and the lil tank for that energon megatron look.

I love how this version have the pre-cartoon commercial color scheme, and without the overengineered look that the energon conversion forcefully had too bad the wword loses some detail in the solib black blade IMO, he needs some stickers here and there can't help but wonder what would come out by mixing it up with the weaponizers like sixgun or ironworks, or what the older figure would look like with the new, different setup hold togeteher by those... also, it's just me, or the wither color makes his jawline look massive?

If Hasbro wanted to make a new version of Megatron Energon it was easier to sell an improved version of the Megatron from Energon and not use the same mold as Siege.

Your intro made me realize... The autobots steal the show when it comes to memorable SG colors. Oh, and the sword/can fit in jet mode, but it covers the con symbol of the cockpit. And to end off, you got any plans to check out the 3P accessory kit that makes him more like the botcon 08 toy?

actually 6 repaints lol the Netflix Kingdom spoiler pack was another repaint. not sure i will pick up the shattered glass line with the exception of SG Jetfire. i will definitely pick that up. yeah he looks a little plain to me. Great Review.

No, it's an homage to Botcon's 2008 Shattered Glass Megatron that I showed in the video. A redeco of Energon Megatron. Firetox made me some gray Wings for Siege Megatron that'll give him that Prime look.

not a fan, a tank to jet may work for blitzwing but slapping a jet onto a built to be a tank tank does not. if only they took the opportunity to make a new version of the original toy, that jet mode was pretty damn cool... though knowing hasbro they'd make it stupid blocky like G1 and not the more refined 2000's aesthetic that evolved from decades of improving from those designs especially during the Brave Series era in japan

Shattered glass megatron is meh to me probably cause I'm more into the kingdom stuff but that's just me still pisses me off that wave 4 was split like couldn't wave 4 still carry slammer and pipes just have wave 5 be deluxe jackpot, mutant tigatron, terrasaur and voyager blaster and starscream which ik is a repack of earthrise but like still I was really hoping to find pipes and slammer at least then wait for blaster whenever he comes out typical hasbro move to split a wave in half lol

I think Hasbro was Lazy here... The face is not Heroic Face, it´s the same Villainous face, and the Space ship is the tank with the legs extended... Easy pass for me. I own the Original Shattered Glass Megs and I am fine with it. I think Hasbro Should´ve used the Titans Return Galvatron mold to give us a Proper SG Megatron. Like Takara Did with Super Megatron. That mold is a Galvatron Mold and turns into a Space Ship, add the SG accessories and BAM! You have a good SG Megs... I am not going to reward them for been lazy...

I'm a fan of Shattered Glass, BUT not of this Megatron. The jet mode is, ok, just horrible. Saying it's lazy is putting it lightly. As of right now, this one is a hard pass.

The comics are shit. The old Funpub comics did more in a single issue to flesh out the shattered glass universe than the wokelords do with 3.
