Scattershot was one of my favorites from my childhood. I'm not sure if you know this, but there are wheels on the ends of the wings. It can roll if you fold down the wings along with the landing gear.

Great review once again. Just a little tidbit for you. Scattershot’s shoulder guns can be used in combine mode. They plug in on either side of the head. They just fit but they do stay in place well and really look good. Give it a try and enjoy!! Transformers are awesome!!!! Scattershot will still be my favorite. See ya again.

Always loved that Technobot team, though I never got it when I was a kid. The vehicle modes are every bit as awesome as the G1 Combaticons, in my opinion. 👍

Hey Patriot Prime. Excellent review as always, brother. The G1 Technobots are a great set. I was fortunate enough to find a vintage Takara giftset version of them a number of years ago, which is pretty cool. It was before the market was saturated with all the KO gift sets that we see today. Cheers M

I liked the Technobots. They all had cool designs and I liked how most of them were pretty much triggerhappy loons (with the exception of Lightspeed and Nosecone). Strafe being my favorite of the bunch. I always liked Computron's voice. It was one of the most unique performances in the series and I really felt he sounded intellectual without overdoing it. And Patriot Prime calculated right, this is another great review. :D And LOL, "for the ladies" mode. XD

Great review. Took me about a year to complete Computron from scratch and buy toyhax upgrades for him. He now sits proudly on my bookcase :) The gun shield/chest armour also slides onto Scattershot's arm as a shield but reversed, so i put a big Autobot sticker on it to improve it. My whole body clenched as you transformed Lightspeed! that boy is kinda breaky.

I just completed my.used Computron this last Friday - almost 3 months - still shopping for some Technobots weapons. Those Toyhax upgrade stickers look great, and might be a future buy… You’re not kidding about Lightspeed. I thought I broke him when I first transformed him.

Great review! I liked this team’s combination of brains and firepower. I always dug their vehicle modes, too (Scattershot’s cannon mode even made the cartoon!). Their robot modes on the show were cool, but their toy counterparts are just OK. Maybe Scattershot, as robot, is a little better… His speech is limited, as a bulk of his brain function is dedicated to computing. Update 10/22/2021 - After a couple months of searching, I have a used Computron! I still need some Technobot weapons, but he is as awesome as you described. Thanks! 4th mode…LOL

I read in a post that Grimlock built them from remains of transformers that Unicron didn't competely destroy. That is why they didn't need Vector Sigma to give them life and personalites.

This was a great set. I normally hate motorcycle transformers because they just look silly without a rider, but Afterburner was amazing. I had him and Nosecone. I think Lightspeed should have been a bit more unique though. He just looks like a regular car. Great review!

If remember well I had Afterburner back in the day but florida weather didn't help well. The screws did rust up some. Then the later happened a couple years ago with my G1 collection. Did want to finish this team though. I would dig a correct look update to all of these guys. The combiner wars set was hit or miss to me. Strafe looked great though.

This is a piece of history. Made in Japan. I recently purchased the re-issue one that is made in China. It was a garbage. First, I couldn't get them out of the tray because they pushed in. Once I got them out. They replaced all diecast parts with plastic. Each figure felt light and cheaply made. The joints were loose and they do not line-up properly. The accessories do not fit. After I combined into Computron, I found out that the figure could hardly stand straight and one of the fists kept falling off. Don't waste your time and money on the combiners reissues. Hasbro should be ashamed for putting these out to the public.

Never had this Combiner as a kid, although I REALLY wanted the team... I mean, drill machine, futuristic bike, 2 space ships, AND a sweet looking futuristic race car... (Plus a secret base mode!), And they're robots... AND they combine into ONE BIG robot...?! Come on! 🤖😲😲😲🤖 Anyway, somewhere down the line, I somehow ended up with about 90% of the Combiner parts, i.e., the chest shield, feet, fists, etc., BUT NO bots and NO weapons for a good many more years down the road... Then about 4 years or so ago, I was a guest at a comic book convention, and took a break to see what I could find of interest and a dealer friend there had a bunch of G1 stuff displayed for sale. I spotted 3 of the Technobots (Afterburner, Strafe, & Nosecone) and looked for the others, but no dice. So, I asked how much he wanted, he gave me a great deal, and I bought them...! Sadly, they had none of the individual weapons each came with originally, but I wasn't too torn up about that. I finally had most of the team, PLUS the Combiner bits! Currently, I STILL need Scattershot & Lightspeed, plus ALL of the individual bot weapons, but eventually, I'll find them... Fortunately, I'm very patient, lol. Beyond finally getting 3 of the G1 Technobots, so far, I got the Hasbro version of the CW Computron, plus PE upgrades AND TOYHAX labels for the whole team, BUT was unable to pick-up the Takara set, to build the Computron I'd prefer, using certain figures from BOTH sets... Even have a 3rd Party Grimlock scaled to work with the combined Computron, just like the cartoon episode. Thinking about repainting a couple of Rung figures from SIEGE, to make twin blasters for the combined mode, and repainting a legends class Shockwave to make an additional team member called Quantron or something, who would become the big cannon for Scattorshot's ship mode and for Combined mode... Anyway, great review, brother! Really enjoyed it, as I always do! Hooo-ah!!

Sounds kinda like my story. I had a Scattershot for about a year before I started tracking down the rest, granted I had a KO Nosecone Afterburner and Nosecone from that infamous KO Menasor set. I actually found my last Computron piece at a local Flea Market.

Update! Watched this awesome review again just now, and realized that I'm definitely going to need... And definitely WANT... The Toyhax repros to replace the battered original decals, as well as the awesome upgrades! Whomever owned my bots previously, was rough on those decals, no doubt about it! Also, since I watched this review last year, I've finally gotten a complete, Scattorshot figure. Even managed to find one minus ALL decals, so I won't have to do as much clean up & prep to Toyhax his plastic @$$, lol... 😆😅😅 STILL haven't been able to get a Lightspeed figure, just to complete the basic Combiner mode of Computron... So the search continues on. I STILL need the individual bots' weapons and a footpad, BUT if I can find Strafe's twin shoulder missiles, which I feel are integral to ALL 3 of his modes, and particularly to the completed look of Computron itself, I could probably do without all the other bots' weaponry... Even though I'd LIKE to complete them all. My main goal, however, is to simply complete COMPUTRON, and so my list is small: 1) Lightspeed 2) Footpad 3) Strafe's 2 missiles Again, love this review, and those Toyhax really bump this Combiner up another notch!

I know you probably haven't done it much, but when several people are doing it all the time it adds up. It's like Emgo fans are going around to other channels to promote Emgo. If there's something he doesn't need, is more promotion, he's doing quite well for himself. What his fans need to realize is two things; 1. They're not 'really' helping Emgo's channel (like I said, he's already doing quite well). 2. They're actually hurting the channel they're leaving that comment on because it may drive away traffic that us smaller channels don't have.

Personal note. I do not like the plastic fantastic models . More the metal one for me. I had this set in the review but you can see that this are really made to play and more for children . Well the metal G1 serie really stand out with details.

Just some constructive criticism man but you take way to long to get into the meat of the video. The intro played a few mins in is way too long and honestly shouldn't even be there just cut straight to the video. If your video is almost half an hour wasted time is annoying and you should really just cut all the fluff and get staright to the meat and potatoes.

Toyhax pays me for the their intro and I've done a G1 history recap in every G1 Review I've ever done because of Viewer feedback. With modern figure Reviews I just go straight to the "Meat & Potatoes"...sometimes adding Gravy. 😉
