About Squeezeplay's buddy Browning: Browning's design is based on the OTHER G1 Japanese Micro Change "gun bot", the one that never made it to the U.S, which was an m1910 pistol.

Back when that mindwipe mold came out, I got one and kitbashed it with a broken g1 squeezeplay and painted it up all pretty for my own squeezeplay. I never thought we'd get squeezeplay, and not only did we get one, but very, very similarly to how I did mine and some others did too. I nearly bought this set but chose to pass as I do technically have all these characters/molds

Personally i think it would have been a far better figure if they used titans return repugnus mold. It would have had a better alt mold less gaps.

Problem is that repugnus mold ain't worth it anymore with how many times they've retooled that base mold. Fangry was a floppy mess.

I wish the gray wasn't so warm. Otherwise, I think it's a decent update for ol' Squeezeplay. I've got the G1 version around here someplace. It was one of the first Transformers I bought with my own money back in 1988 I think. I think I was about 9 or 10 when I got him. I distinctly remember buying him at the K-Mart in Harlan, Kentucky. I can close my eyes and perfectly imagine the smell of cigarettes and hot popcorn that hit you just as you walked in the front door of the place.

I've had a lot of fun this Squeezeplay. Side Note: My kid has renamed the orange Tarantulus to "Dorantulus, Defender of the Taco Loco". Kid thinks the coloring looks like a Doritos chip and I agree. Also, it's cool that the head master isn't just a Titans Return Crashbash redo, it more resembles the suit Cancer from Masterforce wore.

Hasbro could have done better with a new mold but their CEO own't allow that expense. Better robot mode, worse beast mode than a toy from 1988. And he's popular regardless because no one has made a proper update, not even the 3P companies, while a complete G1 copy is incredibly expensive. I also don't understand all the black plastic, which wasn't on the G1 toy nor the animation model in Masterforce... knowing Hasbro they might make people double dip for a later release with blue parts, for "cartoon accuracy". I think the same will happen with Sandstorm which got the toy-style head, he'll get another version later with a toon head.

You’re supposed to rotate his arms around at the upper shoulder/bicep so you can rotate those shoulder joints to put the ball joints on the inside. You also didn’t bring the monster head up far enough.

@@PatriotPrimeReviews The monster head placement is finicky. It will peg in place up top but leaves a gappy neck. It has a notch to fit around the hip piece for a more solid look but won't peg in, it relies on friction alone.

Got this 4-pack yesterday and I've been enjoying it, bummer about the loose arm joints, mine seem pretty good so far. Gotta love QC issues, huh? For what it's worth, yeah, Legacy Squeezeplay's alt mode looks less menacing than his G1 version, but other than maybe his tail being a bit too small, that IS pretty much how he looks in Super God Masterforce.

Yup. I got the set just for Ol' Squeezeplay. I had a feeling he was gonna be pretty garbage but I needed him for my Japanese display. He'll do just fine sitting there, never moving or being transformed but that's fine. I don't have any room for the rest and I don't really want them so if I can make a little back on this pack then I'm ok with this..... I might hold on to that Tarantulas. Edit: Forgot to mention that Browning is a great touch. That was a really cool little thing for Hasbro to throw in.

Wow Hasbro really half-assed that beast mode configuration. I too was really looking forward to the figure and getting a modernized replacement for my OG version. But after seeing this I think I will just stick with my G1. This Squeezeplay is a hot mess where they obviously took way too many shortcuts by trying to base him off of Mindwipe.

I bought this for cliffjumper, kept aqueeze. Now i have to get rid of tarantulas and tarn. 😂 you need to rotate the legs at the black portion and the head clips into the torso between the claws, makes it less gappy.

Why the hell they painted browning silver is beyond me it really is. I've just got this set and it makes me even sadder that I couldn't get the world's collide 4 pack. I've managed to track down the nemesis primal and black arachnia still on the card but would love to own fangry but I won't pay what ppl ask as his legs are loose and I've seen many have trouble staying upright. Hopefully they'll re-release him. What's the bet that horri-bull comes in a 4 pack?

God he's horrible ! i was SO looking forward to him too but it just does not work. like you said when the G1 original STILL looks so much better you know your in trouble. bout the only way i can see myself getting him is if down the road they do a 3 pack with fangry and horri-bull . fingers crossed someone shows him some REAL love in future waves and we get a quality engineered update.

This is the only one I was really wanting from the set, so hopefully I can find one somewhere... if I end up with the whole set, I won't complain, but Squeezeplay is the one I'm after, so I can try and complete the G1 Headmaster figures in their modern format, since I never had any of the G1 versions of them or the Targetmaster figures... That's one thing that I really liked about the TR line, but I didn't like that they had the PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO GET ALL OF THEM OUT, but didn't even try, so NOW we have to wait for random @$$ OVERPRICED, CHEAP@$$ retool/repaints, IN EXCLUSIVE BOXED SETS, JUST TO GET THE STRAGGLERS THEY COULDN'T BE BOTHERED WITH AT THAT POINT... VERY IRRITATING, HASBRO!!! 😠😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬

I think the stragglers were that because they aren't particularly popular toys, not even in the g1 era. But that's just a guess.
