I work for a natural gas pipeline company and this show really captures the feeling of working in a technical position in a blue collar industry. You're pretty much lost until you learn your trade language. First you familiarize yourself with the API, GPA, AGA standards as well as 43 CFR 3175. Then go pull an extended analysis after the double block and bleed before the DeHy on the residue line. Purge and fill and don't forget your pigtail. Also, learn all of this on the fly because the company needed that sample done yesterday and the guy who was qualified for the job was hit by a truck.

In my opinion, probably the most enjoyable show, actor/character, concept that is around today. I wish more people could get eyes on what's going on here. Kudos to everybody involved in the development of this show. Keep it up. We dig it!

@@BeneeUK Wade - I've listened to them and it is debatable if it's a cover. The tune is very different, and even the chorus it totally different. The only similarity is the lyrics of the chorus, and "if I needed you, would you come to me" is the only common lyric. The chorus melody is totally different, with the minor key of Dead Serious Rich, much more sad sounding. Like them both in different ways, but prefer Dead Serious Rick.

@@andylec5879 I am convinced that's where he pulled his line from, if you notice the song I believe he pulled it from was also sung earlier in the series by himself and his father. Very much a coincidence perhaps, but you'd know the lines were the same assuming he'd spent long enough practicing/performing the songs? Even if he knew they were the same they could have been similar but when I write something and then notice it's been used before I usually have heard that song too...
