TheSpitfire109 Well, this was made by the U.S. Office of Emergency Management during WWII. It was to promote the Army, Navy and Marines for people to join and fight in the war, this is not a military medleys compilation. Watching the ware traffic was not the priority, so that’s why a Coast Guard medley performance wasn’t done. And the USAF didn’t exist back then. There was only the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army Air Forces (USAAF). The USAAF later became the USAF and created their own song.

About Air Force, there was already the Song of the Army Air Corps at that time (it was made in 1938, and there are many recording of the song during WW2.) And you forgot Marines aviation also.

The Air Force at the time was part of the Army, as the Army Air Corps, until Ike established it in '47. Marine aviation is still part of the Marines. We have the Marines' Hymn, same as all other Marines. We've never been separate from the rest of the Marine Corps. Main difference is we have different names for units. Wing, Group, Squadron instead of Division, Regiment, Company, and we wear coveralls or flight suits on the flightline.
