Give them credit, they played good solid football. I have a new faith in them having a successful season, Stevenson is a beast. Thornton looked useful . TE 's looked good. Coaching was brilliant.😅

Don't get your hopes up after 1 game.. gonna have to play Buffalo twice at the end of the season and other good teams

We're the only fanbase that downplays a win... Can't savor it, or won't...

Ohhhh I can't wait to hear the afternoon show's bullshit hot take shitting on the positivity. This was pretty good though, a fair and balanced assessment... especially from an actual Pats employee

Pretty sure if Kansas City, San Francisco, or Baltimore fans watched their team win a game playing mediocre they would downplay a win. Patriots fans aren't the only fans who have high expectations and don't exaggerate the teams performance.
@nightspeed23862 ай бұрын
@dchenkin02 Have you seen their offenses? Their QBs? Their WRs? Their Olines? Their overall talent? I wouldn't expect anything less from SB contenders. They should have high expectations. This is Mayos' first win as HC, and it's a milestone. It should be more exciting.

Yes the Pats won. I see no difference between this year's team and last years. Averaged 15.7 points last year, same yesterday. Lowest scoring game in the league. Not going to hold many teams to 10 points. Stevenson had a big game, and Cinci TE tried to show off losing the fumble, would have been a different game.

Exactly Bengals have a lot of turmoil and never play good week 1
@BrickTop062 ай бұрын
Nah, last year you could never trust the qb when we had the ball. Yes, tons of flaws this year but, whether it's Drake or Jacoby, it's still far less stressful than watching Jones. Will the team light it up this year? Hell no. But it will be a better season than last year.

Dude it was a ROOKIE HC gets a win on the road and the team and oline played well. It was a good win considering rookies in starting lineup plus rookie HC and they won on the road which isn't easy nvm being a ROOKIE HC....Give Mayo credit!!

Yes, it’s not prime Brady Pats but, unlike last year they made the plays when they needed to. For example, Stevenson sealed the game at the end w/ 8-men in the box twice. You caused two fumbles at extremely needed times. Duggar popping it out right at the goal line and (Our Freakkng Long-Snapper) causing a fumble on the punt. Gonzalez held Chase down and made him inert. Jones makes an open-field tackle on 4th and 2. The OL didn’t give up a sack. (Compared to what we’ve seen in the offseason, that’s solid). Hunter Henry breaks up the sure interception in the end zone. No Illegal formation on the OL! Special Teams were swarming the field. (Thank you Coach Slater!) One step at a time!
