I especially love the Eleousa-variant of the Hodegetria, since it emphasizes the joyful love and affection that a mother can have for her newborn child. Let us all embrace Christ with such an unbounded, full love

I'm gonna take a shot at explaining the tea. At the "dawn" of Australian history, there were aborigines. In the "morning", there were white people (mostly convicts, from what I hear). And in the "afternoon", you got a bunch of African, Asian, and Indian immigrants. So... maybe that's why? 😉
