A song that feels like it's out of a dream. A combination of the soundtrack from the incredibles, 1940s jazz, yugoslavian pop and soviet folk music all in one

0:20 "Ljute rakete" is incorrect, the singer says "Žute rakete" which means "Yellow rockets". 0:26 "Iz naše čete" The word troop was used in old Serbo-Croatian as 15-20 man units, a modern translation would be more accurate with the usage of the word "Company".
@amazingallosaur619610 ай бұрын
Id also add that "bura" is a strong wind, not necceserilly a storm.

I know its been 10 months but troop is a corect term if you go by old serbo-croatian and not the seperate languages. Čete in the language meant platoon, but in the outposts or karaule they would post up 15 to 25 man units so 'troop' is technicaly correct for the time period but company is correct for modern terminology

@@BalkanGigaChad No, Albania is a separate country - look at any map of Europe, only you'll have to zoom in to the max. You're touting "Immortal Yugoslavia", which is a sentiment I approve of, but you're sadly mistaken on facts. Kosovo was and is a part of Serbia, which in Yugoslavia never had a status of "socialist republic", as all other flags you've pasted had (and today is either still a part of Serbia or a protectorate of the West, depending on a PoV) - ergo, doesn't merit a flag here, or - where is the flag of Vojvodina? Also, when speaking of Yugoslavia, Kosovo was nothing more than the endless black hole of expenses - for "undeveloped regions" - and other problems. That's a short bit of geography & history education for you. However, if you're coming from some "greater Albania" position, go dream somewhere else, do not besmirch Yugoslavia here.

Conscription every citizen underwent compulsory military service of 12 months i believe? thats how long my father did anyways every citizen of Yugoslavia did service as they were expected to defend every inch of land with their lives with hidden weapons caches all around to help against invaders and to be called up as reservists in time of war.
