Is the Patrones App not available in your country? I know the paper magazine is not everywhere, but maybe the digital version is.

@@CameliasSewingChannel yes, the app is available but I am talking about the paper version. I will be in Madrid in February, I just can’t wait ! I hope to buy it there. Do you know if the sewing stores carry it there ?

@almond1739 In Madrid you can find Patrones magazine in most of newspapers kiosks. Even you can try in the airport newspapers shop

I really like this issue as well. The purple dress is so beautiful and I have just the fabric for it, a purple silk with white polka dots. I love the suede jacket with the knit and tule dress and I love the catwalk dresses. I don’t think they make test garments though…there’s a very interesting pattern magazine in my country which is the same, they publish ready made clothes and I doubt they make test garments.

I just don´t get why they don't put more effort in, I guess is cost related, but that makes the quality of the pattern questionable. My latest try at a Patrones jumpsuit was a disaster and waste of fabric!

Dress 31 is finished with so called « beta de punto », 1 cm wide. I assume this is a biais band in jersey. Is this just stitched over the seams ??

From what I read in the instructions, the jersey band is stitched over the seams, so centered over the seam and left and right topstitched. Again, I think is very stupid to advise crepe and satin while this dress is made in a knit.I hate it that Patrones doesn't put more effort in the patterns, to be correct and stuff.
