Simon Peter was a fisherman with a temper but didn’t know his destiny. Called upon, he followed Jesus, his master, yet betrayed him too. But as Jesus Christ had declared that fateful day, he became a ‘fisher of men’ and changed the world.
Jesus Christ knew the reason for his untimely violent death. Thus, in obedience and humbleness he became sin and died on the cross to set us free from the bondage of sin. He knew his calling and completed it with grace.
On the other hand, I ask myself the purpose of my faith in Christ. What am I called for? My effort to that understanding is reflected in this comparative literature. Do enjoy and be blessed with the rendition.
