Thanks for sharing this Tom Meros.. It was great. Only one thing I noticed was wrong is that Loretta Lynn didn't go to Kansas City for the benefit concert she was home in Nashville .. Dottie West was with Patsy in KC instead of Loretta.. I usually don't fawn-gush over any entertainers or celebrities, but I love Patsy Cline's voice and I am intrigued by her life story, and by all the accounts I have ever heard or read about her life..she was a rare gem.. A once in a lifetime singer and personality.. May you Rest In Peace Miss Patsy and Thanks for giving us a little bit of Heaven with that blessed lovely voice and with your love .. Gone way to soon, but she still lives thru her songs.. .

Thanks for making her home town come alive, hopefully I'll get to visit one day. God Bless you and may Patsy rest in peace and her family be blessed by knowing how loved she still is to this day. 🙏#Patsyisqueenofcountry🎤🎶👏💗🙏

Patsy always looked older than her age. I was surprised to find out how young she was when she died. I had her pegged as about 10 years older. Her voice was rich and full for a young kid. RIP Patsy.

Not really! That style back then is a little old timey. The picture of her at 2:02 of her showing her pretty legs sure doesn't look old. I've seen lots of pictures online with better quality and she looked young her hairstyle yeah kind of old timing but her face look very young. Jessica Lange a real pretty actress played as her in the movie sweet dreams and Beverly D'Angelo a beautiful beautiful actress played her in the movie coal Miner's daughter. Anyway she had an awesome voice and it's sad she had the car wreck that left the scar on her forehead but even sadder that the plane crash killed her. I wish she could have done a lot more songs. 😢

LOVE THIS you know i was just born a few years before she died and i love all kinds of music. growing up i never knew who Patsy Cline was. it was not until 1985 and the movie came out. Jessica Lange and Ed Harris and Anne W RIP helped me to discover Miss Cline. THE VOICE will never be duplicated NO ONE has had such an impact on gender equality...from what i have read she was the champion for women in music and crossed over into the pop charts. KD Lang idolized her....they both can sing like no one else. Thank you for giving us a look into her life.Miss Cline is still to this day a role model for all to follow your dreams!!! RIP Patsy Cline and the other people on the plane. i wish she had taken the ride from Dottie West and got to enjoy her DREAM HOUSE. '' I fall to pieces'' is so moving. Owen Bradley and the back up singers amazing. i used to drive everyone crazy by running around making everyone listen to Patsy...but it worked they all became big fans sorry i rambled on!! Thank you

Similar to the story of buddy holly & the others with him. Waylon jennings gave up his seat to another. Hate it so bad for all those who weree killed, both planes!! And dottie rambo(wrote between 2500-3000 songs) died in her bus wreck!

I was walking down Main Street in Pleasanton, CA, on a hot August night in 1989 with my aunt and uncle from San Francisco. The door to a bar was open and, "Crazy," was wafting out into the street. No one said a word and we all just crossed the street and went in. My uncle got sick and died the next February. I count that as one of my favorite memories. The entire weekend was wonderful but hearing Patsy's voice was something we all loved. ❣

Great informative video on Patsy Cline. The song 'Crazy' was written/composed by Willie Nelson. He also has sung the song himself. I'm just mentioning this watching only 10 minutes of this. It was said Patsy Cline did the song one in 1 take in the recording studio. Anyone know if the Triangle Diner where she worked has ever re-opened?

You would think Patsy would have been smarter & knowing better than to get in a plane with a newly pilot. Who didn’t have very much flying time under there belt.... & should have known better than to fly in bad weather.... there’s a reason a lot of airports wait until weather clears up or the storms pass before allowing planes to fly .... It seems someone should have been there for Patsy, like a manager her husband, to tell her no & protect Patsy from making dangerous decisions,
