The trick with Patsy besides her perfect pitch and tone is that she never over-sang. Most covers I hear even from big artists like Carrie Underwood or Leanne Rimes is oversinging, trying to outdo Patsy Cline. There will never be anyone who can sing like Patsy Cline but that was one of if not the best covers I have heard, and I have heard MANY. Great job!

My parents fell in love 40 years ago while they were in a band called "The Wranglers". Mom sang and played bass, and my Dad played drums, They traveled all over the midwest in an old van, and played music from just about every genre. The Wranglers never topped the charts, but music has been a huge part of our family ever since. The Van Sessions are all fantastic, and they immediately make me think of how much fun my parents must have had when they were touring.

The only thing I’d n this video I love more than her voice is that tinkling little iPad piano, and those little Floyd Cramer slips/slurs. This sounds So good. The background vocals too. Makes it sound so 1950’s/60’s. 😊

You so nailed this song....Patsy is difficult to sing with power because she is in between alto and tenor. The van is great for accoustics...ever try singing in a stair well? I am a great fan and love all your videos....arrangement sparse, just like the original. Back up vocals and phrasing are spot on. Thanks again!
