Not sure why but all the sudden this song starting playing in my head and I just had to come and listen to the great Patsy sing it for real. Still miss you here on July first 2024.

I still have the Decca single I bought when it came out in 1962. I was 9. Flip side is You're Stronger than Me. I played them so much I don't even have to actually listen to them anymore; I can play them in my head. But still, it's always a treat to go back and listen to the original, Mono recording.

That's wonderful, you've obviously got a beautiful heart and a great ear to recognize.. class! When I was 14 I hopped trains from the republic of Ireland into the north and slipped through military barricades to get to a second hand record shop in Belfast. That's where I found, Patsy, Julie London, Doris day, Ella Fitzgerald. I'm 56 now but I still remember the magic of getting those records. My parents hadn't a clue. Nice to know the magic is still being discovered and loved

What a blessing to music lovers! Patsy had the perfect vocal tone and performance style for this genre. More than a "once-in-a-lifetime talent," her recordings will capture the hearts of generations to come, for to hear her is to love her. This bitter-sweet song leaves me wanting more...
