Here comes a story from the second volume of Kathu. The superhit Tamil cartoon series for children. Kathu is a cute kitten living with her mom, dad and younger brother Kittu. Appu the squirrel and three grasshoppers are her best friends. Mother hen, uncle crane, grandpa cock senthil, the oriole family, the kingfisher family, robins, the thieves chindan and chundan and the villain name Kandan are the other characters of this animation movie. Their pranks and plays make the songs and stories of this children's movie.
The theme of Kathu (காத்து) is essential life values for children, like: courage, obedience, empathy, love and lot more. Three volumes of Kathu has been released so far. Each volume of Kathu is unique by itself. In 2011 the state Government of Kerala selected Kathu as the best children's programme.
This story is about arrogance (பிடிவாதம்) from the second volume of Kathu. One day for breakfast Kathu and her younger brother Kittu was given two pices of spicy fish fry. Kathu noticed Kittu's fishfry is bigger and started a fight. Mom rearranged the plates to solve the issue. Now kathu feels kittu's portion is still big. What happened next? Watch the story.
