Very nice curry and I love Tamil food! There is a lot of carbohydrate in peas and sugar. If you combine this with carbs in roti (wheat bread), you spike insulin release in your body. Best to use less carb heavy vegs. Green Peas 21 grams carb. Not for diabetics. Green Beans 5 grams carb. Great for diabetics. Chick Pea/Garbanzo bean 8 grams carb. High in Potassium too. Great for diabetics.
