Hi there Lucas 🙏👋 Hope you are well, Vee is getting better, and building up her strength. I saw my sister deal with the recovery after the treatments for cancer and I know how difficult it can be🙏 I haven't been tuning in lately because been dealing with all the preparations for burial of my mother. She was 97 with dementia and in failing health. She had been missing my father ever since his passing in 1999. Thankfully she is now resting and not suffering any more.

I just shared the clip with my fiancée and that room you were staying looks exactly the same as our room (it was a corner suit) :) it was right before the start of the nasty pandemic. You’re right about the view. It was absolutely breathtaking. We probably spent more time out on the patio then inside the room … I paid about $100 a night but the exchange rate was about 28-30 THB per US dollar back then.

I used to live over that way and remember when it was just a baron piece of land. You could walk over to the beach area, sit and contemplate nice things! You could actually walk all the way around from the Wongamat beach to the hotels on the other side when the tide was low. Looks nice though, will have to check it out.

Every time I go to a resort and look in the gym there is nobody in there. But there was constantly people in and out of that coffee shop so I think they are using the space to a better advantage 👍

The pancake size is a setting on those machines. When they are small, it's because they have been set to small. (If you ever see one with the metal panel around the OK button open, you'll see the rest of the settings.)

I have walked all the way from Pattaya Beer Garden (with tides in my favour) to the fishing pier just before you get to that one, can see Sanctuary of Truth. I think I saw the sign for the S'more. Great little find 🙂

Stayed there a year ago when there were no tourists. Place was basically empty. Great price for the room as a result. Best bed in Thailand, super comfy. Bit of a faff trying to get to room though, up and down lifts. Private beach was big deal and the sanctuary of truth back drop was a bonus. Only one negative... If you have any belongings you don't want to suddenly disappear when the room is being cleaned, lock them away. 😕

I've done episodes at every beach between Bangkok and Pattaya already. Some are Bangsaen, Sriracha, even Chonburi Causeway area and Koh Sichang which was also visible beyong the cranes of Leam Chabang 👍
