Beer Garden has an amazing view...The kind of view people travel across the US for a good meal and view. Definitely worth a check to bring a "long time date" and enjoy a good meal and beer.

Promptly, I picked up the glass and turned the coaster around to the green side and gave her a wink. We shared a nice laugh at that. Great waitstaff there.

Hi Geoff, I must say I really enjoy your travel reports. I heard you mention in another video that your first visit to Pattaya, was around 1985, so we both must share some memories of the early days. I worked in Pattaya in December 1982, January 1983 as a DJ at the old 'Orchid Lodge' hotel, situated at the north end of Beach Road (I think it was sold, demolished and a new hotel built years ago). but watching your walkabouts, Beach Road, Walking Street etc. brings back so many memories, and wow after 33 years the place has certainly changed. Watching this in cold raining Melbourne, been to the PBG many times and have never been disappointed, its OK for me as I am only ever in Pattaya for a couple of weeks so find this place great value, especially getting a decent glass of red for only 80 Baht, make sure however you order the South African one not the California one. Pier dining in Pattaya is something to do at the end of your holiday. U$9.11 is abt average for a US sit down meal, but doing that every day in Thailand can add up. Great video, Geoff!
