I have eaten at all of these places and totally agree with you. The one that I would add for a special night out is Cafe Des Amis. Yes, it is a bit pricey but exceptional quality food in a lovely restaurant with brilliant service.

Great video as always. Really enjoyed this. Good to get some local knowledge from someone who resides in Pattaya. I’ve been to the first three restaurants and they were all great. The Sunday carvery at Robin hoods was bangin’. Cheap Charlie’s is great value and the steak I had at Patrick’s was the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely check the other two restaurants out on my next visit. The food looked amazing at Harlan’s and I also love Indian food. I’ve seen you mention Kungs on soi lengkee which does a great breakfast. Everest on soi sai song 10 is worth a visit they have some great pickles and not sure if it’s there anymore but Cherries on 3rd road used to do good food.

Robin Hood - cannot go wrong👍One on Sukhumvit in BKK not as good , but still good. Beefeater opposite Patricks can recommend for brunch, eat as much as you can. Thanks for the Indian tip off.

The food in each of these venues is great. All I would say is, Cheap Charlies lacks AC. Now, I know people are gonna comment, 'That's one of the reasons why the food is so cheap'. BUT, Phil could add 30thb to most dishes to pay for AC, and the food would still be incredible value.

Very entertaining video as ever Trev. I’ve been to the first three of the five and they are all excellent restaurants. I would maybe also add Pattaya Beer Garden by Walking Street as both a good introduction to Pattaya for the ‘newbie’ and also a romantic setting with your partner. Excellent food, comprehensive drinks list and nice views of the bay. If there were a seafood category, a toss-up between all the open air restaurants in Walking Street like King Seafood and Marine Seafood etc. I also like J Daeng Seafood in Second Road.

So far I have just tried Tarka House and Cheap Charlies. Keep meaning to do Robin Hood, I will eat there in my upcoming trip. Cheap Charlies does have that amazing food pass where you pay around $20 up front but then get a number of perks including free coffee refills during breakfast along with ordering daily specials for just 100 baht which saves you $2-4 bucks each time. Good for extended trips as obviously you don't want to eat at the same place each day

I still prefer the food court in Tree town lots of choice in Thai foods and cheap large beers .. Also the beer garden does freshly prepared food on average 200 bhat with good views overlooking the sea and pints of draught larger i think 150 bhat .
