2002 I think was when Purachai started his social order campaign and closed everywhere down at 0200. So instead everywhere opened at 14:00. EPIC!!. great vid mate, I remember 02 like it was yesterday when Pattayaland 2 was at its best, loads of GoGo's and it was absolutely hedonistic.

Oo yeah i remember that at 02u00 . And also police starded checking alot on wearing your helmet on the motorbike. Everywhere in Thailand.

This was filmed 4-5 years before my 1st visit. I stupidly went to Ermita, Manila for my 1st couple of holidays in S.E.Asia, then Miami. Then I discovered Pattaya, even though my friend had told us about it after returning from working on board The QE2 in 1986, it still took me 20 years to get there and this video almost duplicates how I 1st recalled it. I miss the tree lined dusty track that used to meander along Beach Rd and when the girls genuinely showed affection with zero aggression.
