Wow yea first time for me 93 on my 40th birthday and been every year since except covid year. You dont realise how its changed till you watch a movie like this. Nice one. And you allways got a free mini neck shoulder massage when you went in a bar and the bar girls were attentive and didn't have mobile phones and expect a lady drink for opening a bottle for you..........

So glad to have been able to start out in Pattaya in 1992. Been there every year since, except for Covid, this year. So much better in the 90's. Great to be able to "return" via this video. You really don't know how great things are, until you don't have them anymore...

92 was my first time to Pattaya. Wound up living there till around 2002. Just went back in 2023...didn't realize how I missed it. We're going back Jan. 2024. Hopefully every 6 months fro. Now on.

My first trip was 1999 and I have gone back every year sense. I have lived in South Korea sense 2006 I have gone 5 to 6 times a year every year sense then. I love the place, all the changes and everything about it! 2 years from retirement and guess where I will spend those cold Korean months? You guessed it Pattaya!

Much better back in those days. Nothing on Soi Buakhao back then..look at it now; like Peckham high street. Oh for a time machine !

my first visit 1979 I was there in 1992.. second road dirt and huge pot holes in it.. beach road notice all the trees.. huge areas of green field land.. very interesting to see it how it was back then.. like the water in a river ..the people back then left the stage. its a different place now.. some things worse ..some better.. its changing all the time ..20 years from now.. it could be a deserted bombed out shell.. or back to a fishing village with old run down hotel ?

Thanks for the video, nice to see the old Pattaya footage, my first trip was way back in 2005 & I've been going for the 17th time until COVID-19 pandemic hit the entire tourism industry. It will never be the same anymore & I doubt on my 50th birthday in 2024, it will get better which will be my next trip.

Wow - enjoyed that 8:45 past my old hotel (Diana Inn - now flattened to make way for a condo!). Just outside the hotel was a few small bars and met a lady called Nan one night in there who I will never forget. Great days - wish I had a time machine!. Is there a date when this film was taken?.

yeah. my first trip was 2004. too many changes for the worst since then. Who needs big central plaza mall? I don't go there for western big malls. I got plenty of those in the US. Diana Inn was nice. Really nice outdoor pool. miss it
