This video with patten's music is a beautiful representation of the human condition as it exists in 2014. Absolutely profound. I feel like I not only saw but experienced the entire world simply by viewing this. Thank you patten, Jane Eastlight and Warp Records.

This music is organic and systematic at the same time. I don't know how that's possible but it is. Thanks, patten, whoever you are!

This piece of art (and ideas that one can extract from it) can be used to base existence on. Never heard anything more overfilling and mind-expanding. It is pure flow of existential joy and wonder ≋

Clearly explains the well structured pattern of "caos" and "randomness" of existence.

+Mauricio Misas ESTOILE NAIANT (star swimming horizontally - the sun reflected in a body of water) patten: It is a way for me into looking at what this record could be and what all records and music could be. There's something in there that opens up to the idea of a connection between the absolutely quotidian, here, now, everyday, individual experiences and something unfathomably large and universal. Something almost predating time. Predating anyone alive today and existing long after we are all gone. It's all of our histories as people living, working some things out, writing, talking, singing, leaving these traces for those left to continue it all after we die. It's a big project we're all a part of. It's the strange core of what it is to be human.

Warp deviated from it's origins but most would say they assimilated. If they would include a Tomas track in their mixes once a year that would be appreciated.
