I love your results! Great definition & volume! 🙌🏾 I think it's a great line. The Intensive condish (my favorite) is the one without cones, and it's described on the bottle as meant for high porosity (that's why I got it; actually I got all three in travel size) I use the heavy to mix with my amla powder for my masks). Also love the leave-in.
@sheilaking5 жыл бұрын
So glad you mentioned some products are NOT curly girl friendly. Amodimethicone is not a water soluble silicone. As beautiful as both looks turned out, the fact that I have to use a sulfate-based shampoo to remove the silicone is a “no” for me. If the product developers at Pattern can find a way to remove the silicone and give me the same results, then I’ll splurge....😉

You’re always on point, I think you’ve figured out the vision of Tracee. Like her mom, she’s all about big, fluffy,untamed hair. Most reviews I’ve seen are mixed, they’re ok with the shampoo but complain about the leave-in/styler. I don’t think I’ll try these, they don’t appeal to me, besides, I’m trying not to buy any more products, I’ve got enough to last me a lifetime (my room looks like a warehouse 😆). I love your yellow background 👍🏽 This line has been a decade in the making... I’m with LoriAnne on the price... I mean, “the nerve”! Thank you for demonstrating and explaining the concept behind this brand! If the vision of Pattern Beauty as a whole is to have big hair, would that either mean she doesn't plan on coming out with a styler or that the styler will barely have any hold? 🤔 Gosh, a 9.8oz leave-in for $20 that mostly provides just moisture? Hm. LoriAnne, I share the same sentiments with brands slapping on prices under the *false* sense of entitlement. I personally think Ms. Ross is selling her products like the way designer brands sell their products (e.g. look just as beautiful, just as functional as the 'regular' or smaller name brand items, but because of the name the price is skyrocket high).
@KLT8285 жыл бұрын

TA scrape that conditioner back in the bottle! Lol. LA your hair looked really good after you took off your towel, Wow! I was so excited when I heard these products were coming out, but I have been taking my time and watching many reviews on the product line. i am not quite ready to pay that price and some of the ingredients I am not happy with. Also I have many shampoos and conditioners, I don't want to buy a line without stylers. I don't mind spending a little more money on my hair products, but I really want to feel like the products are worth it. Right now I would rather spend my dollars on Curlsmith than Pattern Beauty. I don't feel like I would getting the most bang for my buck purchasing Pattern products. I am sure she is commanding those higher prices because she is Traci Ellis Ross. If I came out with a hair care line my products better be on point including ingredients in order for me Karen Reeves, the unknown to be able to sell them. I heard the leave-in is the star of the line. Your results are very good for just a leave-in. I understand her concept, but a wash day is a lot of work and I want more than just two days from it. Thank you for your review.
@beverlycharles65345 жыл бұрын
Was interested in Curlsmith products but soooo much glycerin 😔. I just want a GREAT healthy moisturizing creamy styler WITHOUT coconut oil nor protein nor beeswax - with little to no Silicones nor Glycerin. Am willing to pay $20+ Sad that neither Pattern nor Curlsmith meets my needs.

The leave in can’t be used alone. Just because there’s no gel in her line yet mean you can’t use a gel you love on top. Anyway that leave in is sooooo good! I got the travel size! I used it with a pudding on top that had hold & it was great. I used it with gel and it was Great!

LoriAnn, “Big Hair, Big Butt.” 😂😂 Taylor, “Don’t be Busted.” 😂😂 I couldn’t wait to see Taylor’s hair. She took her time to get it on every strand. Beautiful. I think people expected the leave in to look like their regular styling products. If that’s what you want then this product is not for you. Take it for what it is. Not every product is for everyone. I loved the packaging. Definitely high end. I didn’t care for the products, the scent was not good for my sinuses, but I Love the brush and I don’t like the denman brush. @@shesslucky I'm 4a/3c. My favorite products are what I make in my kitchen. I haven't found anything that can beat my flaxseed gel, mainly because I have tailored the ingredients to my hair over the years. But the BEST store bought wash and go I've ever done was a one and done with Uncle Funkys Daughter Curly Magic. I was completely flabbergasted by the moisture, shine, slip and hold. It's pricier than I want to spend, but it's worth it and you don't need a lot. The best cream wash and go I've ever done was the SheaMoisture Coconut and Hibiscus Masque (leave some in when rinsing out) and Smoothie. Moisture, moisture, shine, and more moisture. I get my most clumped curls with this combo. I buy SheaMoisture on sale with coupons in bulk so each product is like $5-6. I'm always trying new products, but I have yet to find somthing that replaces these for me. Edit: and the silk protein in the SheaMoisture Coconut and Hibiscus line is great for strengthening and moisturizing hair for length retention
