Oh my goodness. Not only are we built the same but our styles are so similar. I actually purchased red faux suede for this pattern but it was too thin so I ended up using a camel colored faux suede Ponte from Joann. I made similar alterations. Only I graded between an 8 and a 12. I wish I had made a straight size 10 but I guess that’ll work for the next version. Ill be making a black one next. Really beautiful job. I adore your version and your daughters version is also very cute. Two of my favorite colors.❤

I printed and taped together the pattern yesterday. Cut out the pattern. Whew! There a lot of pieces!

There are a ton of pieces, but once you have everything cut and prepped, the sewing goes really smoothly!

I used thicker tread for my daughter's leather jacket, but only for the topstitching. I used buttonhole thread for hers. For my vinyl one (the red one), I just used regular Gutermann Mara 100 for the entire thing!
