The answer to this is when we explore new areas with the passage pf time same type of species keeps on repeating and we will not get any new species. That is why , when we explore new area species richness ( types of species ) we get will increase upto a limit after that it will becomw constant due to repeatation ( no new species). I hope ! It is clear .
