This is very true. Me and my husband just left a church here in Europe because the setting and program must follow what the Overseer in Africa demands to do. Even to fast, the members fast only when that pastor in Africa declares a fast. Even teaching the word of God, they teach only what the pastor in Africa has asked them to preach

I'm in a church like this here in Canada. Probably the same pastor (ivory coast). I just started going and for now I'm not moving because in every church there is something we can find that's wrong. After the pandemic I wasn't able to go to church because I could always find something wrong (then was mask and vax). You can always fast whenever you feel led too. Also God can use us wherever we are. That's why I love the teachings here.
