Sin is trying to fill a legitimate desire in an illegitimate way. The right pattern and the wrong pattern start with who started the desire 3.) The pattern that starts with you will always end with problems 4.) The patterns that start with God will always end with power 5.) The power is in the pattern, if you don't like the music of your life, you have to change the beat. The problems are a byproduct of your patterns, address the patterns, not the problems. Ask God what your patterns are 6.) PATTERN - no sleep, no rest PRODUCT - anxiety PROMISE - peace PATTERN - hiding things PRODUCT - Addiction PROMISE - freedom PATTERN - comparison ( the quickest way to devalue something great is to compare it with something else) PRODUCT - Insecurity PROMISE - confidence PATTERN - spend what you have PRODUCT - constantly financial hardship PROMISE - stewardship and abundance How do you change a pattern? : 1.) Take the pattern ( acknowledge it ) 2.) Break the pattern (abandon what it is) 3.) Make the pattern (arrange what you desire it to be) 4.) Shake the pattern (available for edits from God) 5.) Bake the pattern (allow time and fire) 7.) Jesus has a pattern - he is always there. Your patterns have to change, but God's pattern never does. I prayed this prayer during a relationship with a girl. I felt anxiety throughout the relationship and kept playing this song every night. 2 weeks later the girl ended the relationship, leaving me broken and confused. I then ran to drugs, pornography, and success to fill the void. None of it worked and then quarantine hit. And when quarantine hit it helped realize that I was building my life on falling sand, so I finally gave my life to God.
