i always find it interesting how levitate gets chosen over earth eater almost all the time when it's essentially the same thing but earth eater restores HP

Levitate also makes you immune to most hazards iirc

@@sora8827On the other hand, Levitate is easier to turn off. Edit: That said, Levitate did mean the Terrain didn't help, while Earth Eater would have maintained the benefit...

Levitate does also make you immune to grounded hazards like webs and spikes, as well as in a rare case, immune to area traps. Earth eater has the benefit of restoring hp but depending on the situation you ultimately get more out of a levitate than an earth eater

@@davidharshman7645 there's 4 moves (well one of them only if the levitate mon itself uses it, so really only 3) that turns off levitate. one of them is only learned by zygarde, one of them is a status move that barely has any use other than to turn off levitate/flying, and the last one has 50 base power. they all see so little usage, that how much easier levitate is to turn off is negligible. not getting benefit of terrain is admittedly a noticeable drawback, but terrain is still far less common than (non stealth rock) entry hazards in these videos.

I don't know why Vinny didn't give Walking Wake something like Volt Absorb or even Lightning Rod.. He knew that Luke was building an electric team, so should have planned accordingly to have at least one Pokemon with an immunity.

I would've loved to see a special set on Dragonite for the rain team. Thunder, Hurricane, a water move, and I think it also gets Draco Meteor, and your opponent wont see it coming.

I'm disappointed he talked him into Adaptability on Tauros instead of Normalize. Normalize lets get get an additional 80% damage on non-normal moves (1.5*1.2) while Adaptability only gives 50% bonus. Edit: Didn't matter lmao. He should have used Volt Absorb

Fun fact: even tho Mega’s and Primals aren’t in the game, the abilities exclusive to those forms actually still exist and work. So yes, Primordial Sea is, in fact, in the game :)
