You should be rolling 3 dice without seeing your starters. 20 & under you have to take one move from one of your other starters. 21 to 40 you can give it any ability. 41 to 60 you can choose to change one of your pokemon with your opponent without knowing. So for example if Dylan rolls 59 he can choose to stay with middle pokemon without knowing what it is or decide to trade his middle pokemon with your middle pokemon starter.

Tbf, its a house rule at my dnd table where the dice needs to actually roll, and not just go plop. Also, you guys forgot more than a couple of advantages and disadvantages. Like on the turn with Abomasnow, graveler and Delibird, you shouldve rolled with advantage.

Video idea suggestion. You use Squirdle to choose your pokemon. If you can guess the correct pokemon, you get the spin an advantage wheel. If you get it wrong, you spin a penalty wheel.
