Almost died last year… medical emergency.. bout 5 hours away from going to My King. He wasn’t ready.. I have important things to do with my Sons. My oldest fell 30 feet at work and was paralyzed from the chest down. All the bones in his face were broken and he suffered a traumatic brain injury. Patti Labelle is so genuine, what you see on videos is the real deal, i met her on a flight from Philly to Chicago, (short flight usually) we were stuck on the tarmac for 3 hours before we could take off, Patti kept the crew laughing the entire time! I was one of the flight crew and she was more like one of the crew vs one of the passengers! Very classy lady!

Aw, my condolences. I lost my mom, in 81. She was 45 years old. I've missed her so much. I know she's in heaven, but I still miss her. I'm 60 now, but yeah think of her often.😔

Unbelievable that after all these years that MS. PATTI LABELLE always brings tears to my eyes. She has the voice of a real angel. I first met, saw Ms. LABELLE at NOLA JAZZ FEZTIVAL. you had to be there. I was celebrating my 21st birthday ,alone. It is Impossible to forget Ms. LABELLE 'S entrance on stage. She was all in black. Lots of lace. Her black hat was amazing!! I was pretty close to the stage, and fought to get there, btw!!! As She began to sing, Ms. LABELLE just slowly, matter factly peel her her beautiful custom. Not all of it, for the dirty minded. Her voice was so amazing. Right then and there I had a heavenly experience because of her voice. I love her so much. Everytime $or all the years later, Her affection t on me has not changed. I really do keep Her in my prayers.SHE is an angel on earth.

Though I agree (Now this is a love song) but when it's "One Sided" that's more of an obsession. And where I give Patti so much credit on this one, how subtle she sang it, unlike most of her other hits where she's hitting them (louder) notes. it'd been great if she went that route but she put it on another level with how smooth she sang this. But reminded you how she can hit them notes by riffing at the end a little.

I lost my mom in 2019 and she used to play this when she would clean and be cooking breakfast. Rest easy sweetheart. I remember when we were moving from Florida to Georgia this song came on and my husband grabbed my hand and held it so tight. He drove the rest of the way smiling at me everytime I looked over at him. I miss him so much. God decided to call him home May 13th 2022 at 11:48pm.
