Both ladies are magnificent singers and performers as well..I have seen both in concert live and as both are very effected in their style and delivery it is not an easy choice..However in the end I would have to say Dame Shirley is the more skilled vocalist and has just a slight edge in her mastery of her craft..All Dame wannabee's stand back and bow low before the original and finest Diva of them all..Dame Shirley Bassey..I would recommend watching her live concert from Cardiff from 1993..Truly Bassey at her best!
