What makes this acoustic version special is how much stronger and clearer her voice comes through as opposed to the electric ones. It really allows you to hear just how beautiful her voice truly is when she's not having to compete with a full band. God what a gifted singer as well as a songwriter.

@@winstonwatson1469 Saw this when it was first broadcast on the BBC by pure chance. My mate described the guitarist as Animal from the Muppets with a guitar rather than a drum set. It was meant entirely as a compliment. He really does give his all but in no way overshadows Ms Smith.

She has a wonderful story about the only time she met Jim Morrison, when she was unknown and hungry. Elektra parties were the best for stealing food from, cos the food was always set up between the main room and the entrance. She's in there one evening, thinking she's alone, stuffing bread and fruit into a bag, when a man's voice from a corner says, "Those hamburgers are pretty good too." So she quickly takes a few of them and says thanks. Jim just nods.
