I love these and I need to make them. When our Grand kids were little they called us Grampa and Granma Owl because of a rather large lawn ornament in our yard. What type of felt do you reccomend? It looks a bit heavier than typical craft felt. Thank you in advance for your reccomendation.

Thank you Janice. That is cute what they called you. I am using a 2mm felt. Hobby Lobby has it for .39 cents a sheet, they call it premium felt.
