Wow time to get Wild and Crazy!! This gnome is really cute! This one took a little while to think how Wild and Crazy we want to be but you really got it!! Really hits home for those wild and Crazy people we have here. Guess it's me getting ready to go camping again. It sucks with all that nasty fog we have from all that burning in Canada. Glad you don't have it by you so breath clean!!

I have done a few & added my our little twist to them of course. Ive only been making gnomes for almost year now & I truely love coming up with new ideas for them. Very different from North Idaho🥴 yesterday I fainted from a heat stroke though 🥴 We moved down here the first week of March and I spent the next 2.5 weeks in the hospital and having 2 brain surgeries. I'm just now getting out and enjoying myself. I think from now on though, I'll stay in the cool house! Thank you so much for making caveman💜 I really enjoyed watching you make him. Ok, why wouldn't you work on all of the appendages first and bake all at the same time? Also, if you don't have any wooden buttons and/or balls for noses, couldn't you make one out of the clay and bake that with the arms, legs, hands, and feet?

I don't bake them all at the same time because I am adding to them. If you try to make it all in one time, you can mess up the feet by adding the legs and then the ankles. You are able to blend when one part is already hard. Yes, you can make a nose from clay, great idea.

@PattiJGood. Oooh! I didn't realize the "add ons" like ankle bones had to be pressed onto a harder surface. I thought those could be made "all at once" like fingers on the other gnomes.

I usually buy it fresh when I am making a project. You can also run it though a dedicated pasta maker and it will soften it.
