This is a super easy spring butterfly gnome diy. This is a one sock gnome using a cone for the body. This is a quick and easy way to make a gnome with feet without having to attach them. I will show you how I make store bought butterflies have a glossy finish. This diy gnome can't get any easier. This spring gnome is a great decor piece for both spring and summer. @@PattiJGood Oh, i see. The double layer is better, because the 1st layer is the shoe, the 2nd layer is the underfoot. I made/make the underfoot layer from different color felt usually, but rarely same color. I use for 2nd layer most often the white and yellow colors, sometimes its different, depend on the shoe's color too.

Patti, you always make it look so easy 🤣. I quit smoking yesterday after over 50 years and this is what I’m doing. Keeping busy making your wonderful gnomes. They are finally building a Hobby Lobby near me. We only have Michael’s and Joann’s. Do you have allergies? I think I hear it in your voice? I hope you are feeling well. 💖 Cute fella! 🥰. I purchased the same vine ribbon in 3 different colors. My original plan for it didn't work out. Thank you for the inspiration. Now I have an idea how to use it up. And I need to stop being so impulsive. I keep purchasing stuff then I don't use it. Ugh! It's a mood thing with me. 😬 I have had an interesting 2 weeks. My oldest saint bernard, Lily is not a fan of fresh cut grass. It causes her eyes to swell. So I have been medicating her eyes and giving her Benadryl. You know how Benadryl either makes a kid hyper or it puts them to sleep. I have had both reactions😂. Not sure how to navigate the fresh grass cut day. She is trained to potty outside and I don't plan on changing that. It took 2 grass cuts to figure it out. Lily and I just had our 1 st anniversary on my birthday. I had no idea she was sensitive to fresh grass cuts and maybe the pollen too. Poor baby. She's feeling better now. Meanwhile her little sister Darla also a saint bernard played Braveheart with a stick in her mouth charging back and forth in the backyard. Such a goofy puppy. Almost 6 months. She spent time with my pet sitter at the park with the sitter's Golden doodle. I needed some me time. Lol.

Thanks Kimberly. Yes, I suffer from allergies really bad this time of year. I usually have to go get a steroide shot for them. I did'nt see the vine ribbon in colors, I will have to go look for that. I'm right there with you, I impulse buy too and it sets on a shelf. Guilty. My little Maxwell has allergies too. I did not know you could give the Benadryl, I will have to look into that because he sniffs like he has a cold this time of year. He is 2 years old. My dogs are very hyper, originally breed for circus dogs. Have a great week.

@@PattiJGood I will be praying for your allergies. I prayed for Lily and she is doing better. Yes you can give Benadryl to dogs. But definitely check your vet for dosage. I had to give Lily 2 adult pills for her weight. And Darla gets one if she needs it... I got the ribbon in green, cream and peach 😬. Have a great week❤️
