I'm doing the second phase of my project in the next few days and it's a bit daunting that we're required to use Aspen to model the process amidst the Covid lockdown but this video is very reassuring and easy to follow, I know Aspen can be more glitchy than what I'm used to (COCO simulator) but I'm gonna give it my best shot! Thumbs up for the video!

Dear Dr. Christi, I saw your video, It was great, thank you. Just one point, UNIQUAC-RK is not a version of UNIQUAC. when we utilize an activity coefficient model for liquid phase( such as UNIQUAC) and an EOS for vapor phase(like RK or PR or whatever..), we name it as the gamma-phi approach. gamma for correction of liquid phase fugacity and phi for correction of vapor phase fugacity. Good Luck

I have seen quite a few of your video lectures. These are very impressive. I am a Mechanical Engineer but always had an interest in Chemical Engineering. Where do you recommend I should start your lectures? I have taken Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer and Design of Thermal Systems along with General and Organic Chemistry was well?

Dr. Luks!.... Appreciate for ur knowledge sharing. Can you please post ur video in calculating number of stages in LLE column?

you didn't need to use UNIQUAC -RK as you run the column at atmospheric pressure

Madam Christi Patton Luks, I tried to contact you for a tutorial of HCl-Water VLE in aspen plus, however I couldn't find your email. Kindly upload a tutorial for creating HCl-Water Txy in aspen plus. I need it, I have tried many methods but i end up with incorrect Txy. Thank you.
