I am so terribly sorry for your loss. It sounds like you and Robin had a beautiful love story. I lost my husband Tim to leukemia not quite four months ago. I miss him so much. He was my world. I had never heard this song until today. I had just been talking to Tim in my head when this song came on. He loved Patty Griffin’s music. I found this on a television show called without a trace. I've been at musician and singer all my life and I've never heard this spectacular human being. Sorry, he died in my arms unexpectedly but I did eventually rescue another dog. Try the video of Mary Chapin Carpenter called 'Soul Companion' with James Taylor. I play guitar for solace, and both of these women prop me up (as do many other singers) when needed. Only you can find your way, although there are many ways to get support. That's how I still make it when life ts difficult. I know you can find the goodness during the bad parts of life. But I'm just a realist.
