I wrote this song in 2015. When I lived in Scotland in 2016, the producer Nassif Younes and I decided to record the song as a layered hurdy-gurdy-"orchestra" version. Here's the result! I hope you enjoy it.
This instrument is called "hurdy gurdy" and has its roots in the medieval times. It works like a mechanical violin with a wheel bow, that can play bass, melody and rhythm all at once. This song is recorded using ONLY the hurdy gurdy.
If you want to support me, give me a thumbs up and share this video on any social media platform you like! Thank you :)

Hmm, when he sings it, it sounds as dawn or morn, there is no clear distinction (for my eastern european ear). I suppose, Patty knows the right and is singing it more clearly, but the first lyrics transcribers just noted down what comes first to mind. Break of dawn is more popular, used than break of morn, so it got noted like that. Have we uncovered the mystery, @Patty Gurdy :)

@Ilja Permiakov Seriously? Here, TheLongDark leaves the best comment ever, and then you go and leave the worst possible response. The point the OP is making is that whether they go to heaven or hell, they do not fear DEATH, for they have already heard heaven, and that is enough to merit happiness in LIFE. This isn't a religious take on "deserving" either one, you idiot. Then, to add insult to injury, you go further and insult rap... moronic. There are several rappers, and rap songs, that are very poignant, moving, and meaningful. They're not all full of hate, or evil, or "ugly." Try listening to music from the Broadway show, "Hamilton." That's rap, and it's some of the best I've ever heard. And for the record, I'm not a fan of most rap. Grow up, and learn how to act when someone leaves an awesome comment that is meant as a pure complement toward the video we all watched.

I came to this channel because I made a Bard in D&D for a game, but I had no idea what instrument they should play. My DM suggested on a whim that he should play a Hurdy Gurdy. I thought that was super cool when I looked it up. Long Story short, the bard went back to his home to save it from his Tyrant uncle. I wanted a song to have for the celebration of his defeat for when my character would have to leave again. I choose this one and I loved every second of it. The campaign didn't work out after a while but I will never forget that character because of this song.
