One of the clearest explanations of what a player did to win. He changed to continental grip. Most explanations are just vague but this is very clear. It made a whole lot of difference to his serve. Wow... Courageous to do that in such a short time.

Absolutely incorrect. RF conducts himself very humbly as well.

@@tobiasgoldman i agree...RF is a person with many good qualities... he is very fortunate - blessed with so many good things in life...but he is a solid person...and normal compared with his out-of-the-world success...

@Rare Tennis you are wrong. he is so fortunate that he is entitled by destiny...and is own hardwork... of course he has everything he wants but that is a combination of his great fortune and hardwork...

When he says it becomes an obsession of you take a long time to win the last of the 4... made me think ,”that’s what happened to nole. He had to wait for his first French for like..... 4 finals lol

I think it's really significant that he says he took a risk changing his serve before the tournament as he has stopped taking risks since US Open 2010. Djokovic has improved massively since then but Rafa seems to have lost that huge passion he used to show so well. Maybe completing the career slam made him feel different. Still love him now and forever but he is not the same player as back then. Vamos in London champ x

This is held in 2010, when Fedex got 16 GS n Nadal tallied it to 9. Nadal kept 'begging' Mc. Enroe not to compare him to Fedex as t gap was then 7 GS n as he himself believed that Fedex belonged to his untouchable niche way above him. But now that in 2019 His tally gets to 18 n Fedex's 20 (t gap narrows to 2) what does he think of him being compared to Fedex?

all of a sudden in the middle of tennis talk: "Lot of people are struggling economically in Spain and the united states..." Old man JohnMcEnroe turns economic commentator...to Rafa the US open winner 2010.. what a comedy... what can RafaelNadal do to ease situations of international/national economics i wonder... he might be able to and he does a lot for his island...his small village...as he says...but spain...united states...!!!

God bestows him a tremendous talent in tennis and a tremendous humbleness in his character. I guess other players, including Djoker, get inspired by Nadal's n Federer's down to earth humbleness. So are we the tennis fans. Do u agree?

And, as of now the race is still going on, questions continue to linger in t minds of tennis fans. And The three competitors, Djoker 15, Nadal 18 n Fedex 20, seem to hide the ambition n the emotion well under their humbleness. All these add to the more curiosities hovering in the minds of tennins fans and in the competitors themselves. Finally, Who will prevail to the top of GOATS?

Federer has 17 Grand Slams...in my humble oppinion I think Nadal will end up with 14, maybe 15 Grand slams. Nadal has 11 Slams currently with the US Open in 2 months. Now if Nadal wins US Open then I believe he could pass The Federer. But Federer is BACK !!! #1 in the world.
