That's so cute those baby chicks. And fresh eggs later. Nice!

When we visited Anchorage, we stayed at the Comfort Inn, not far from the airport. It had a stream behind it, and the salmon were coming up from Cook Inlet. I got to rent some fishing gear and bought a fishing license at the hotel. I caught a good size salmon and the hotel chef prepared several dishes with it. It was like paying for a pkg. dinner. Man was it good. The chef did a cedar plank grilled salmon, a salad with salmon flake, and these salmon croquets that melted in your mouth. I was able to go out each day and catch one pretty quick, I think the weighed 20lbs to 25lbs. each. We had almost 40 lbs of salmon fillets freeze dried and shipped home. Great video!

Oh Man. R.I.P. Rocky the moose. 🙁I got some nice pics with him. And...happy belated BD!

Thank you Brian! Yes it was very sad to hear that Rocky had passed away. I swear he died of a broken heart when Fish & Game took away the right to pet and kiss him. He loved his human friends. Lucy seems to be doing well and with the addition of Lily she won't be so lonely. The farm unfortunately had a few losses last year including Dolly their Bison but they have been doing a great job of bringing in more animals to fill those voids. Hope you guys had an amazing summer! And thanks for watching!

@@RVingtoAlaska Thanks. Yes we had an amazing summer. We really enjoyed being home after moving around so much last year. Starting to slowly move into to fall weather now. It was great to see all the places. Our time up there is still pretty fresh in our memory banks.

Put in 100w bulbs. That takes the chill off the air in the coop.

Hey Stacey and Gary. On the RV lock try holding the lock button by itself. It should lock after several seconds. We have had RV lock on our Alliance Paradigm for over a year and just figured that out. Try it and let us know if yours works out. Take care Tom & Donna Boatwright

#2? hahaha. Great seeing y'all however briefly while passing there in AK (this is Nebraska here). Back at home in the lower 48 and making plans to get back! edit: The Dalton was epicly bad that night; wish we had time to make it past the Arctic Circle but roads were too bad for our timeframe. We did cross the Arctic Circle in two different parallels during one trip (and made it to Tuk) so can't complain too much!

Hey Nebraska! It’s too bad you didn’t continue north because you saw the worst of the Dalton that day. We didn’t understand why you turned around until we hit that section of the road. Wow! We understand now. Glad you made it back safe and sound and excited to hear you are coming back. We will have to try and meet up again.
