The victim impact statements shouldn't be a factor in his parole hearing, it's his behavior and rehabilitation that is most important here. Parole on a life sentence is lifetime probation and any violation thrown back inside. He's safest in his solitary confinement, I don't know why the victim's families don't just move on with their own lives.
