Poetry and the power of music. It's still alive. Thank you Paul and the Blue Nile. Legendary.

So intimate, so sweet. How could you not get a tear in the eye? His ability to emote such lonely beauty through his voice is rare. Buchanan is a gem, from The Blue Nile to his solo work. You were lucky to see him in such a setting.

For such a seemingly ordinary, self-effacing man, Paul always sings in such a way that you can hear his soul.

WHY doesn't he release a live album or two or three? His voice is so urgent live, and he needs so little accompaniment.

that always makes me think to Neon Genesis Evangelion. This song is basically Neon Genesis Evangelion and all the emotions that that masterpiece encapsulates
