Whether people love or hate Castellano, he still lived by the code of honor that Don Carlo and Mr. Niel lived by. Castellano was against selling street drugs, and Gotti was all for it. Gotti brought down Cosa Nostra and made the feds crack down on the goodfellas!

Why didn't Neil do something about drug dealing since he's portrayed as a real true example of mafia

Aside from Carlo I think every other gambino boss was killed so what code? Lol
@Unknown3121220 күн бұрын
None, absolutely none of the mafia higher ups were aganist drug money, they discouraged underlings from doing it but usually had an outside crew or associates deal with it. Drugs is way too lucrative. The gambinos had the Cherry Hill faction, in additi to Fat Angies brother who was big in Heroin. The french connection etc etc

How much time did Paul Castellano do? His whole life he spent 3 months in prison. Castellano was a Boss alright but not the right Boss for the biggest Mob family in the country.

That hit did turn up the heat on the mob super high, and without doubt the very beginning of the end of John Gotti. Good drop Scott.

I dont get what decicos motivation was honestly unless he wanted to than kill john and take the number 1 spot but if thats the case why doesnt he just let paul take gotti out first and let paul do his work for him than hit paul???? Never made sense to me i know decicco did tine with john but i dont know love from TRENTON NJ

Decicco was one of those rare few exceptions where a made guy(s) was on good terms (and then some) with the boss i.e Paul, while at the same time was very close/tight (and then some) with that other crew/faction led by said boss' adversary i.e Gotti Sr. Between the prison time they served together as well as many other shared bonds and adversity embraced and overcome - and when it came right down to it they simply had a mutually shared perspective and idea(s) of what this thing should be/have been - as well as who is/was the antithesis of said goal(s) and what ultimately would have needed to have been done to resolve such an obstacle(s), and from there what to do next after said obstacle is rid of and how to do it and by whom. 😅

New way of doing things. Lol. Almost every boss came I. Power by killing their boss. Carlo had Anastasia killed. Genovese tried to kill His boss. Frank Costello wit no approval from commission Stop the nonsense. Yall sound dumb. And Anastasia came to power by killing. Mangano.
