@@ChrisHopkinsBass he was probably better at quiz shows than magic in my opinion. From what I read in his biography he was also an amazing down-hill skier, an accomplished bummer, and an expert painter.

World class Brit - he should have gone to the states to make him a household name there... still he made plenty money here. Very pro Tory, he once said on a BBC Breakfast Time interview that he'd seen people attempting to escape from Communists being shot at by guards ....which had made his mind up regarding politics.

great stuff I like it not a lot but Paul was a great talent I played working mens clubs for years as a young man and so did Paul it was not easy believe me and a lot of the clubs I Played were in Glasgow near where I live so what a grounding that was then i moved into pop music then Rock music .
