I like PG or Klay, but we all know Booth isn’t making any moves, he loves rookies with zero experience, we are in the middle of Jokic’s prime yet he wants to go young instead of bringing in trusted vets. Hate his mindset.

I don’t hate Pickett at all, I just hate the idea that we’re going to enter the year with a second round pick that hasn’t played in the pros like… at all… as the answer to us not being able to get past half court against the Wolves. Effectively he’s just a rookie second round pick on a contender during Jokers prime. This is the shakiest possible ground. Just get me Monte to run the second unit and then see if Pickett can earn some minutes
@danesovic75853 ай бұрын
Yeah, gaslighting is off the charts.
@rainofkhandaq66783 ай бұрын
He didn't play for a reason, he isn't good. Every off season people cope with the "didn't play" nonsense. Colin only started last year too and was clearly 3x better than Pickett
@joshackley24963 ай бұрын
The only thing separating the nuggets from a championship is staying healthy. Jamal was injured, that much you could see. I think the key to giving him the best chance to be healthy is not having to play a ton of minutes in the regular season. Which is why I'm happy that Reggie is back. Don't necessarily need to pickett right now

The NBA is about players right now not destinations. I think players want to play with Jokic. Whether or not we want those players is another question but I think things have changed from what they once were because of him. And I'm a lifelong fan who was ecstatic when Paul Millsap came here... A washed Allen Iverson was more than I could ever dream of. I think as long as Jokic wants to play Denver will try to put the best team around him and while he's at this level people will want to play with him

Draft picks holding this up? Wtf? MPJ, Naji, and however many picks it takes. We are talking Championships here! Who cares about picks. Booth is feeling himself a little too much. Starting to remind me of Jerry Kruase. Remember how many picks the Wolves traded for Gobert? Get it done!!!!!!! Paul George, Mal, Gordon, and Jokic.... are YOU KIDDING??

If you can’t afford KCP you can’t afford what Klay wants money wise. They literally can’t afford him. He’ll be offered more from Magic, Houston, Pistons or some team like that with money possibly Warriors still. PS any Nuggets fan saying KCP > Murray should be in an insane asylum.

I like Klay for a trade, because I think Porter and Klay in the same system would create a similar effect (if lesser) to steph and klay, where it is tough to keep track of two elite shooters on defense. Add to that a passing AND scoring big like Jokic, and that spacing would be insane. Porter could learn to move off ball, but his height as well as Jokic and Murray's passing makes me confident that having a moving Klay and a more stationary Porter would still be tough to defend.
@MarkLewis-l3f3 ай бұрын
When are Nuggets fans going to understand that our team isn't functioning on the same business model as teams like the Lakers & Warriors. They're building their team from within through development, not by signing over-priced free agents. Every off season we hear the same nonsense that they need to sign player X or Y. It's not happening, nor should it. That is not how this team is built to win. We don't need these high ego stars playing with Jokic. We simply need to trust in what they're doing & realize that the Spurs built their dominant teams like this too.

MPJ will maintain his trade value, if PG tanks a year or 2 into his 4 year deal then what? You’re stuck
@cugelchannel47333 ай бұрын
Paul George would make the Nuggets instant overwhelming favorites. What the Hell was Denver thinking turning down that deal! I could totally see Steve Ballmer saying "you guys made me pass on Porter twice!" But around the league, Porter has no trade value due to injury concerns and the Nuggets don't nearly get enough value from him to justify paying him $35m. Getting rid of Zeke for salary match is a huge plus. Nuggets didn't want to give up their draft picks? What use were all those picks? They just gave up 5 second rounders to get rid of Reggie Jackson and move up 6 spots in the draft to get a backup power forward. They're desperate to hold onto that 2031 pick? Who knows if Jokic will even be still playing at that point? Hell, Skynet could have us all terminated by then? Who knows? How could they pass up that deal?

If they keep the white clemson boys lol, (Hunter Tyson and PJ Hall) Keep Jalen Picket, Julian Swarther. Sign Trey Alexander and throw DaRon Holmes right in the rotation.. pick up Vlatko Cancar's team option. Sooo if thats the route they go... yeah.. pretty sure, they could offer Klay, up to 55 Mil for 3 years, the 3 year's klay wants lol and without Denver going over into the second apron. Him taking 17-19 million a year isn't totally crazy. It seems like he's more about guaranteed years than money. Hopefully, KCP signs to a non-Western competitor, too.

Can kelvin booth get it through his dense skull if you’re gonna look for a all star caliber player why are you doing it for Paul George, there are a billion other guys available that they could trade porter for like bogdanovic of the hawks who is far cheaper or even dejounte Murray..It would be a worthy trade giving away a good portion of thier draft capital except for Holmes for at least one of those guys considering that dejounte is 27 and still has prime years left in his career and boggy is 31. Klay and George would be terrible long term investments given thier age, price, and injury risk. To make matters worse pope will be gone soon Denver we need a replacement for him asap and know that’s not Christian Bryan even though he’s solid but he’s a bench piece that needs to develop just be realistic.
