I hate this discussion already and I blame Lebron and the media, mostly ESPN, for pushing a guy that's not supposed to be there. Imagine a guy with that profile was not named James, but let's say Jake Williams (random name) and doesn't happen to be Lebron's son. He wouldn't be in the league and that's the bottom line and everything else is just BS.

Guys, he clearly is not a NBA player. The only reason he is in the NBA now, is because of his father. The father, who said, his kid is better than many NBA players he is watching on tv. We have to protect him? His father should have protected him. But Lebron had his dream. And the power to make his dream happen. He made his kid a NBA player, a pro athlete. With a contract, nobody else would have gotten. This is not a Kindergarten. This is the NBA. If he can`t play, everybody can point on him and say: he can`t play...

I'm sure Bronny is a good kid, but as a basketball player, would the Lakers drafted him if he wasn't LBJ's son? It's sad that His father's ego and the need to make history is leading to all these harsh critics on Bronny. I'm sure he would have wanted to stay at USC a bit more to improve his game, but Big Daddy might retire soon and so here he is. Sacrificing your kid for your own legacy is just sad.

He's not even g-league talent. He wasn't good in college. He wasn't even one of the best players on his college team. He had 5 ppg on .366 fg% and .267 from 3p. Bronny is lost on the court. He is lost on both offense and defense (except for 1v1 defense). He turns the ball over frequently. He is timid with the ball. His shooting is abysmal. He doesn't bring in rebounds. The only thing that he has going for him is his jumping ability and 1v1 defense, which is no where near enough to compensate for his flaws. How people don't see this is beyond me.

And About the media bronny is lebrons son, Lebron is One of the greatest players of all time and hes playing with his son this is a big thing you gonna see alot more of this depending on if he stays in the league or watever. can you imagine how much media wouldve been on kobe playing with a son or mj or kd steph any great in this social media era ? Regardless of the stats playing good or bad its the name on the back of his jersey I dont get why its suprizing tbh we all know he was 2nd round 55th pick most players that late in the draft dont get much time if any in the league anyway so people talking about his play is pointless

@ I don’t have any problem with it as long as you understand there’s going to be people that criticize drafting Bronny and giving him all his attention if he’s just the 55th pick you can’t have your cake and eat it too The media can’t give him all his attention and LeBron hype him up saying that he’s better than other players in the NBA and then when people criticize him LeBron fans start scream he’s only the 55th pick. It doesn’t work that way. If you want us to treat him like the 55th pick then the media and LeBron and his fans should also treat him like the 55th pick.

Let’s assume the son of the former US Surgeon General, Ben Carson, becomes a Surgeon like his father, would you want him to be as proficient as his father within a month of becoming a Surgeon? This is what we are expecting from Bronny, using his father’s standard as a measure of his expectations.

😒, PG is getting Klutch Money, Bronny SHOULD be better than what he is, HIS dad said Bronny was better than the players in the league, and PG heard it, because it was in the MEDIA,also LeBron was supposedly the best player in the world, so therefore, those skills should've been passed on to his son, LeBron said he saw the SKILLS in his son when was 5, and at which time he brought it to HIS wife's attention, using the word SPECIAL,when Bronny was a playing a game, but since LeBron DIDN'T like to do ONE on ONE, due to his lack of skills, Bronny got short changed by HIS dad, everybody keep saying how great he is, but his boy have to suffer through SCRUTINY, thanks to his dad, Sure, time will cure all one way or the other, but UNTIL then, he'll have to deal with it, his DAD wrote a CHECK his son couldn't cash! 🤨

Fanboys... I'll say this again, He's a laker only because of his daddy. Otherwise, he'd be in the G league struggling. I have lost the desire to watch the NBA.. Good riddings!

PG comments were ok. Everything else was the most idiotic statements I have heard. This is about a hairstyle? Seriously? I am a bald Blackman...guess that helps me with my job. The truth is his dad should have let the boy cut his own teeth so he can grow up into a man and second a ball player. Talk about helicopter parenting. I get the cool factor to play with your son....hell I like playing bass while my son plays drums...it's great but I won't do that at the expense of his growth.

!!!without watching this video besides only seeing the thumbnail. i already know u gonna say “it’s unfair!” on thumbnail to get ppl to think your saying it’s unfair how bronny got in nba etc something along those lines …when in reality u just going to get on camera and protect bronny and say it’s unfair of people to expect anything out of him as such a late draft pick. Lame
