I am a Celtics fan and been watching NBA for a long time, every time someone gets seriously injured feels like it happened to your own brother, I wish nothing but the best for Paul, only someone who whole heartedly and loyally loved a team would understand this, I feel your pain Pacers and especially Larry Bird n PG.

Wish you a Speedy Recovery Paul George! Couldn't watch more of the replay of the incident, it is just too gruesome to see the pain and the thoughts whether you will be able to return better. Since 2012, I admire how you play and mostly the 360 dunk. Again, get well soon!

I was too shocked when I seen this man... almost wanted to cry inside because I feel for paul george's career, he's worked so hard, an has potential to be one of the next greatest players in the league and then this comes up!! I can only imagine what he is thinking...if only he didnt try to block james harden and put on a show, but then again maybe he looks to play hard every game or was frustrated that the team was losing as he said he hates losing, anyways, best of luck George you are in all of our prayers and we hope you get the speediest recovery and dont lose a touch on your step!!

Sad this had to happen but really the people to blame are the NBA and the NCAA basketball for not moving seats and the backstand of the basket farther away we had a 2 almost carrer ending plays and plenty more I haven't seen the ones I know are Nerlens Noel same exact play a George gets his knee hooked on the back stand tears his ACL up and Dion Waiters vs the 76ers Dunks the balls and has no room after landing so he trys to stop from running into the camera guys and fans knee bends almost backward lucky for him it's wasn't as serious as Noel or George but this needs to be stopped. It's sad George had to sacrafice his leg and possibly his carrer but the basketball as a sports needs to change this for players and the fans. Prayers to Paul and everyone of his family members

In all seriousness, this is not only a mental test for Paul George but for *all* people who aspire to play basketball. It makes some not want to go on, for fear of having that happen to them. It shouldn't discourage us, though. You have to be mentally stringent if you want to play high level basketball (I'm talking playoffs, Finals) consistently and succeed. Seeing another player get injured is unfortunate (and best of luck to PG24, that *was* nasty to look at) but you have to have a mind of cement and power through it. I'm sure Team USA is going to do this, and the only difference from them to us is that they made it. That does *not* mean they have to stop working at it though, so why should we who have not made it fail to do the same?
@j0kokoh10 жыл бұрын
People over reacting, this isn't career ending. Looked like a compound fracture, no torn ligaments or tendons so he'll be fine. Anderson Silva and Kevin Ware came back in a year, so can PG.

You cannot recover enough to play basketball, he literally snapped his lower part of his leg in half. He'll get some steel frames in that leg (or whatever they're called) but it won't be enough to save his basketball career.

^ You're dumb. The official statement said that PG should be back to pre-injury levels in 6-12 months so get your facts right before getting on KZbin and trolling all the pacers fans.
@reelxeno10 жыл бұрын
clean snap, no tears, he should be walking within 3 months, prolly running by 6. and if anything, his leg would be stronger because of how bones heal up. relax people, nobody died. this is nowhere close as career ending as, say, a ligament/tendon/cartilage tear, wherein you almost never go back to normal levels. you will shrug off a fracture in 3-6 months, a tear will plague you your entire life.
