Giving 100m to 35 year old DeRozan for 4 years makes 0 sense. The plan is that if they can’t land a star with their cap space is to sign guys to shorter deals so they can compete once one does come available. DeRozan is not a good fit, not a star and should only be considered if he’d play here on a 1 year deal.

As a Pitt guy, Carrington is big and athletic for a guard. Has pretty good vision, but not much of a shooter yet.
