Never getting an OKC vs GSW playoff series when KD was on GSW got to be one of the biggest disappointments of the 2010s NBA.

I truly believe if he didn't have to deal with two messed up shoulders around all star break in his last year with the thunder. He would have kept his pace up in scoring and defense and could have secured atleast the second voting spot or had a good chance to beat giannis. He was lights out for majority of the season on both ends.
@eta83044 жыл бұрын
@@percussionjamz6704 exactly the situation I had in mind. He has never been the same after that injury.
@tylergary59534 жыл бұрын
percussion jamz for sure. I watched him consistently go off on both ends all year, I knew something was off post all star. Like you said he could’ve at the very least probably got second in voting possibly won mvp cause with him keeping up that pace, the thunder don’t drop to the 6 seed. They likely finish anywhere from the 1-3 seed which would’ve helped his case even more. And then finally, I think the thunder could’ve made the wcf had he stayed healthy. The healthy MVPG we saw all year wasn’t taking a back seat or getting outbattled by anyone. He balled on giannis and harden in the regular season. He was balling on everyone. So yeah, with a healthy pg they would’ve beat the blazers, and likely the nuggets too. Then it would’ve been Russ pg and Adams, vs curry klay and dray. Assuming kd still gets hurt which there’s no reason he doesn’t

@gilly20262 жыл бұрын
The supporting cast is too good for him to try to play like this. He could probably play this good tbh but he can’t do it while almost Avg 30 PPG bc Kawhi, and the rest of the scorers gotta eat too otherwise there’s no point in having so many 2 way scorers on the team sadly. Honestly PG should be first scoring option and KAWHI should just eat when they for sure need buckets and when they need kawhi to close the games

Rockets can keep up with OKC with shooting, but OKC has the ability to actually bully GSW. GSW has always had a problem with teams who can get to the rack, be physical, grab boards, and play defense. OKC can do that & has superstars.
