Hey guys, I just got that looper, and noticed when i started looping, when I FIRST press the loop switch to start recording, it makes a clip noise in my amp. Same thing when I ERASE the loop I hear a clip sound in my amp. Anyone else experience this? Its powered by the Voodoolab 2+. Is this a power issue? I changed my patch cable, and same thing. Even as a stand alone pedal I still hear that clipping sound when I first hit the looper switch. I would appreciate any advice any of would have
@BwanaTube10 жыл бұрын
You could rule out power supply issues by slapping a 9v or two in the pedal, but hurry up and test, because they'll only last a few nano-seconds ;) I haven't noticed a click issue with my setup.

Having to play at twice the speed to get a an octave effect at the correct tempo is really unnecessary, why not just include a pitch shifter? i understand that the octave effect is a consequence of halving the tempo but it breaks the 1/2 speed feature for anything other than bass lines.. i would much rather there be an octave drop setting as opposed to having to work around the half speed setting by playing twice as fast to create a bass line. what would the purpose be of a half speed setting anyway if it didn't affect the pitch and cant be done in real time?
@BwanaTube10 жыл бұрын
I tend to use it to speed up lines by recording at the "half" speed, and as just a general "change-up" pitch. But I don't tend to use loopers for normal one-man-band song structure applications. The half-speed and reverse function the same way they have for years on the Line 6 DL4.
@asig00010 жыл бұрын
it has to do with the sample rate. loopers sample digitally and simply half the sample rate to get that speed.
@umanitanova57696 жыл бұрын
Is this something you're really griping about? An unnecessary use of a feature?

Is a solo played in Eb backwards still in Eb? My theory blows. :D
@joshichabod10 жыл бұрын
yes
@TimurIskhodzhanov10 жыл бұрын
Reversing the time doesn't change the pitch (time multiplier: -1.0). Slowing down has the multiplier of 0.5, thus the pitch goes down an octave.
